I actually rode my bike to work one day while I was teaching high school back in the 80's. I don't recall exactly how far a trek it was, but I know it took me an hour and I also recall I didn't care for taking a shower at school...LOL.
From time to time on our T@B Yahoo Forum, the discussion of bikes and bike racks comes up. Folks who enjoy taking their bicycles on camping trips always want to know what kind of bikes others have and exactly how they transport them.
As soon as Highway Bob, my personal T@B Guru, has some free time in his schedule, he's going to install a rack on SplashT@B for me. I've had my folding bike for two camping seasons and I'd like to be able to take it along more often than not.
At our recent James Island Spring Break and the Blue Ridge Rally, there were lots of bicycles to be seen and ridden. I didn't capture everyone and their bikes on both trips, but wish I had now. I pulled together all the photos I do have and thought you might enjoy a replay of those two camping trips, but with a different slant.
