Before we even left Lake Cumberland State Park, Tink had a senior moment with her car keys...that's all I'm going to say about that. I had a bit of a hiccup with my hitch and needed all hands on deck to solve it. Sue's microwave sent sparks flying when she unplugged it and her frig went haywire at the same time.
I'm happy to report that Tink is fine, SplashT@B is fine, and Sue's refrigerator is purring like a kitten!
The hiccups slowed us down just a little and we left the campground about 9:30. We were quite the sight as we traveled together up and down the Kentucky back roads. The next two hiccups came in the form of wrecks...not us thank goodness, but some other unlucky folks. The second one we came upon had us completely stopped. The EMS told us it would be at least an hour, so we all made u-turns in the road. What a sight that was!! |
Our original site was number 9, but it was so steep that Becky and I decided to move into one that that unoccupied. The more I thought about it though, the more I worried that someone might be coming in that site for the weekend. I checked the reservation website and sure enough, I was right. So we moved back to 9...hiccup, hiccup.
Sleep well everyone and I'll chat with you tomorrow!! Ta-ta...
