With no WiFi at our site and only one bar of cell service that fluctuated between that and no service at all, we had to head over to the camp store to check on the world, the arrival of a baby in Lois' family, send out a Blue Ridge Tidbit, and call home. It's not often that we have such limited service, but we did at Oconee.
Breakfast ranged from the hard-boiled eggs and bacon that Becky brought, to the faithful camping Pop Tarts that I supplied, to the cinnamon rolls that Lois made, and always a cup of coffee for me. It doesn't take much to fill us up and make us happy in the morning! | |
I pulled out the electric skillet and prepared Asian Beef and Noodles for our supper by the lake, while Lois brought cheese and crackers. Then we enjoyed a fine supper together.
Thanks a bunch for dropping by to take delivery of my Monday Postcard from Oconee State Park. Drop by again tomorrow if you have time to see what fun we had on Tuesday!
