My last "How The Stars Aligned" chapter was way back in May, so I need to fill in some missing pieces to this grand adventure that began back in March. The week after the Blue Ridge Rally, I put the Wee Cabin on the market. Within 14 days, I had a buyer offering my full asking price. I was floored to say the least! Unfortunately, that was too good to be true and she cancelled the contract.
No worries though, because I was under contract two days later with a fellow offering the initial appraisal price. We are set to close in August and I have my fingers crossed this one will go through. My original plan was to sell the Wee Cabin, then get a seasonal site here in The Holler, find a trailer, and the rest would be history. I kinda got the cart before the horse, LOL.
One of the main components holding this wild and crazy ride together has been Cousin Rob. On May 5th, he drove to Newton, we hooked up The Coffee Cup, and off we went to Raccoon Holler.
Once there, Rob and I got her positioned just right and I happily spent the night there as a seasonal on 5th Avenue. We spent the next day shopping at Walmart and Lowes for supplies for some projects.
