Although Murphy and Gracie weren't too keen about being left alone, Wendy and I headed for lunch at The Veranda Cafe. Ahhh, life is good when you have half a club sandwich, chilled strawberry soup, and a sweet tea and lemonade concoction! Our next stop was strictly for me.....my favorite fabric shop where the selection is a treat for the eyes. I looked again at the two perfect patterns for SplashT@B's next set of awnings. I didn't spring for them again.....I know, I know..... what am I waiting on? I found some fabric that will be perfect for my next Coffee Cup project. I'm so lucky to have such a great fabric store with exceptionally cool fabrics! Our next to last stop of the afternoon was at the Asheville Farmers Market. We picked up some fresh tomatoes and corn which will be the foundation of supper tomorrow night along with crab cakes from Ingles! | We got to visit with Kerryn at the Common Housefly for a bit where Chef Wendy bought a spiffy new knife. She will tell you that life is good with the perfect knife! |
Until then, I'm kicking back and relaxing at The Wee Cabin where life is definitely GOOD!
