When I see red things, I think of Susan (S2).
"Toolbelt Sue" is always thinking of decorating with an orange flair. She and Rich are currently in the process of moving from NY to NC and bringing "T@B-r-ific" with them.
Every single time I'm in an antique and collectibles shop, I see so many things that I know my T@Bbin' buddies would love. When I see red things, I think of Susan (S2). Susan is the owner of "RT"...a little red T@B. Now you understand why she is attracted to red! Highway Bob is the designated driver and he likes red too. When I see yellow or shabby chic things, I think of Sandi (S3). Sandi and John from Cape Cod are the owners of "T@Bby Chic". She is a sweet yellow T@B that has been decorated with a vintage touch. Even though I didn't see nor photograph any groups of orange things yesterday, I still think of Sue (S4) when I do. "Toolbelt Sue" is always thinking of decorating with an orange flair. She and Rich are currently in the process of moving from NY to NC and bringing "T@B-r-ific" with them. Red, yellow, and orange...the colors of RT, T@Bby Chic, and T@B-r-ific. S2, S3, and S4...the nicknames I've given my T@Bbin' buddies who all have names that start with S. And who is S1? Why that would be me...who, by the way, loves the colors lime green and blue!
It's Saturday and that can mean only one thing...junkin' with Becky! With our antiques and collectibles map in hand, we headed to Mooresville to check out 3 new shops. First stop was Lake Norman Antique Mall. The address was Water Tower Plaza, so instead of pulling out Jill the GPS, we just looked for a big ole water tower...and it worked! 27,000 square feet of great stuff in this mall. Sweet little collection of aluminum coffee pots. We hadn't been inside a total of fifteen minutes until I spied something that made my heart sing. It is without a doubt the most perfect item for The Coffee Cup. It's something I've been searching for for quite awhile. You're gonna want to strangle me, but I'm not going to tell you about it in today's Postcard! I'll need to clean it up a bit, take photos from every angle and then some, and then I'll devote an entire blog to it. So that's going to have to wait until after Becky and I get back from Nashville next weekend. "Hee, hee, hee" she says with an evil little laugh. Tomorrow I've got five photos especially for S2 and S3. I guess you'll just have to drop back by Sunday afternoon to see what they are and exactly who they are for! Have a great Saturday y'all!! |
