I truly believe in serendipity. And this past Saturday at our inaugural Carolina Buzz In for the NC and SC Maker Bees, it struck again. Catherine Steenburgh, who came from Winston-Salem, is a most talented Maker Bee. She is a retired art teacher and that tells you a lot right there!
She recently took a class in making marbled papers and covered a box with those papers to give to me during our Buzz In. It is absolutely beautiful!

Last week while working on my Maker Bee teacups, I decided that I was going to treat myself to a set of Posca pens that I've drooled over time and time again. I have white and black ones, but I wanted COLOR. Lots of colors. The minute I opened up Catherine's box, I knew those Posca pens would fit. When I got home from the Buzz In, the first thing I did was put that idea to the test.
