If I had to pinpoint where my small bit of talent comes from, it would be from Annie Killian Sigmon, my Grandmother. She was loaded with artistic abilities. Some of my early early memories involve sitting on her lap coloring and drawing on a little easel I got for Christmas in 1953.
She painted beautiful florals and I often wish I had several of them. What I do have is a pencil drawing she did in 1909 as a young girl of 13. It is signed, framed, and it is treasured beyond treasure.

So how long have I been dabbling in art? All my life. Who got me started on this art-filled journey through the years? Mom Sigmon. Thanks for stopping by The Studio so you could meet her.
