Becky and I went at 9 a.m. in order to get a good parking place, not have to fight the crowds on the streets, and try to beat the heat and storms that would inevitably strike. This little festival has it all...
* streets full of vendors selling everything from jewelry, bottle trees, handmade soaps, potholders, used books, t-shirts, tie-dyed clothing, photos, artwork, metal art, woodworking pieces, musical instruments...
Today is our traditional Cruising Sunday where hundreds of old cars will line the courthouse square and side streets. Later in the day, these cars will all pull out and cruise like we did each weekend in our youth. Becky will be there in her VW bug as always and if you drop in tomorrow, I'll share all the cruising chrome with you!
