In the meantime, I'm making good progress getting everything ready. I sat down Monday night and made a to-do list for yesterday, today, and tomorrow. With the Blue Ridge Rally just a month away, I needed to stay on pace with those plans.
I won't go into all the details, but I'll tell you that there were 10 things I needed to do yesterday, 8 were on my list for today, and there are 14 for tomorrow. And I'm happy to report that so far, I'm right on track.
I spent a good portion of the afternoon pulling out camping gear, cleaning off cobwebs, and packing the car. It looks like soooooo much stuff to me and there's still a bicycle, clothing bags, and computers to go in. I realize that lots of folks take a whole lot more stuff than I do, but I'm always conscious of weight, taking what's needed depending on the campground and its location, and packing efficiently.
