Once back at Big Meadow, I strolled around snapping photos here and there before we enjoyed a yummy supper of grilled chicken and broccoli with cheese.
This is what early Thursday morning at the Blue Ridge Rally looked like. What a nice way to start the day wouldn't you say? Here's how our day played out... At 10:00, a bunch of artsy-fartsy campers joined me in the Pavilion for Camp Craft. With just a few simple instructions, they were off and running, creating a personalized sign for their campsites. It was impossible to stay put on such a gorgeous day in Townsend, so lots of folks headed out to explore, choose a great lunch spot, and do a bit of shopping. Becky and I relaxed for awhile, had lunch, then went out to run a few errands in Maryville. Once back at Big Meadow, I strolled around snapping photos here and there before we enjoyed a yummy supper of grilled chicken and broccoli with cheese. At 7 o'clock we gathered in the Pavilion for an hour with Mike and Connie Clemmer, dulcimer players from Wood 'n Strings here in Townsend. We were entertained with music and stories and I LOVED it!! I bet you wish you were here for all the fun! Well come back tomorrow evening for your Friday Postcard and I'll share more good BRR times with you!!
