I rolled over yesterday morning about 6:00 a.m. to see a black Schnauzer staring at me eyeball to eyeball. Time to get up! Time to feed me! Time for a walk! And that's how it all started.
We took care of all the early necessities (me included) and we were ready for our day. As I mentioned earlier, Rob cooked a breakfast casserole that really hit the spot. Afterwards he showed me some AirDrop tricks for my iPhone and Mac that will make my tech world a bit better.
We loaded all the four-leggeds and two-leggeds up in Levi and made a quick trip to Walmart for a few needed supplies. While Trisha and I were inside, Rob mapped our route and our day.
First stop was New River State Park (Visitor Center & campground). We wanted to see if there were any campground changes (nope) and wanted to check to see if there were any neat stickers for our Yetis (yep).
Rob fixed a Taco Bake for supper and earned his July Fiesta CDO patch at the same time. After a good walk, we settled in for the night. Yep, you just never know what kind of day you'll have when camping, but I'm here to report that Monday was a fine one. Now I've got to get this one started! See ya back here tomorrow morning.
