I will start with this morning because it is still so fresh in our memories. Cunningham Falls State Park has had copious amounts of rain lately and last evening added a couple inches to the total. This morning about a quarter to seven, we heard this tremendous CRASH very close by and knew immediately a tree had come down!
Liz saw it fall and upon investigation after our showers, it fell directly behind Carolyn and Doug's tent!!
After taking care of our morning chores, Becky, Sue, and I headed to Hagerstown for some junkin'. We have several terrific antique malls that we love to visit and we always find treasures in. Yesterday was no exception because we all found stuff. (There is a Mollie project in my future that I will share with you later.)
Site #5 is our community site for the week where we have all our meals and campfires. We have three Easy-up tents erected and several tables for serving. Wendy had decorated with a western theme to welcome us and cooked steaks and sloppy joes for everyone. The other Chefs brought sides, salads, and desserts to round out the menu.
So this brings you up to speed on yesterday, last night, and this morning. Our adventures take us to Frederick today and I'll have that Postcard written for you tomorrow morning. Be well and have a great day.
