Becky and I traveled home from the beach yesterday morning, but made a stop in Charlotte at The Park to meet Rob and Trisha at the NC RV Show. The Park is the old Merchandising Mart re-named that hosts all sorts of events in the Queen City, one being the biggest RV show in the Carolinas.
We go every few years with the hopes of getting lots of freebies, picking up brochures from campgrounds, walking among all the trailers, and always checking to see a T@B or something new, fun, and compact is there. Even though there were more smaller, affordable trailers this year than in the past, alas, no T@Bs.
Rob and Trisha were glad to see a lone R-pod there in a dreamy, creamy color with the famous Forest River frog gracing the side
I did talk to one salesman from Tom Johnson Camping Center, Marcel, who sold my sweet SplashT@B to me way back in the spring of 2007. Along with Carolina Country RV, I believe they get the award for having the most inventory there.
Enjoy your Sunday everyone . . . camping season is getting closer by the day!!
