We are tucked into the mountains not too far from Mt. Mitchell State Park. The temperature has been in the low 70s all day and we haven't seen a ray of sunshine. No worries though, because we had dry weather to set up camp.
Rob and I took a little stroll around the campground to get the lay of the land. Down by the river are really nice tent sites with a rocky beach. The first thing we noticed were some rock cairns that someone had left behind.
