On Saturday, Susan and I drove from The Wee Cabin over to Maggie Valley to participate in the "Fall Into Vintage Open House" sponsored by the Tin Can Tourists. For five bucks, we got to see 40+ beautiful trailers up close and personal both inside and out. We spent three hours there and I took 280 photos!! This week my daily Postcards to you will feature these grand old campers and a few new ones too! |
Here are the first three trailers I'd like to show you. The first is a 1966 Arrow, owned by Herb & Barb Rash from West Jefferson, NC. The second one will be a retro-like 2009 Shasta Airflyte belonging to Susan & Larry Duke from Waxhaw, NC. The third one is a 1960 Airstream Overlander from Kings Mountain, NC, owned by Kim & Randy McPherson. |
