Although we got a very early start to our day (thanks Murphy), it was unhurried and just the way I like to ease in to it. Coffee, camp McMuffins made by Bec, and a late shower without waiting scored a morning 10.
We came up with a plan for the day that involved riding the back roads, looking at stone houses and bank barns, and driving through small towns where we enjoyed the architecture of the buildings.
We all gathered in our community site for a community supper. Bec and I had caesar salads with some boiled shrimp thrown in. After supper, Geo set up a big TV and we all watched the movie "Caveman". I had never heard of it, but Liz promised it was a hoot and it was. It wasn't even good enough to be considered a B movie and maybe that's why we all laughed and enjoyed it! Murphy and I were bundled up under one of Katie's blankets and that was another good thing.
Tonight was the first night we have been able to have a campfire and with the temperatures dropping here on the mountain, the heat sure felt great. Score another 10 for our afternoon and evening.
