This week will be a busy one as I take care of business before pulling out for the MD DOG (Dutch Oven Gathering ) a week from today. But first, I have one last OBX Postcard to share with you. Saturday was all about taking care of business, coastal-style.
We got out on the beach via ramp 55 by 9:00, staked out our spot, and settled in for a morning of toes in the sand. The beach was practically deserted since it was change-over day and folks were either heading home or hadn't arrived yet.
We watched dramatic off-shore clouds forming, riders on horseback walking past, and Rob fishing as we listened to music, read, and day dreamed our morning away.
The line was long, but people were happily chatting the time away. Small plates were $8 and large ones $12 and we knew it would be good and for a good cause too.
