We had a wonderful breeze through Levi's windows and while I read, someone with the initials of TPR in our party slept, LOL. Our ferry trip lasted about an hour and by 9:30, we are in our six-seater golf cart zipping around the island.
Rob drove us around on every road and lane on the island. We saw beautiful beach homes, lots of flowers and gardens, pirate flags and funky yard art, and with a picnic thrown in the middle of four hours of fun, it was an oh so wonderful day on Ocracoke!
We walked over to the Ritchie Pirate Compound about 6:00 and decided we wanted pizza and salad for supper. We ended up at the Gingerbread House Bakery for the "island's best pizza". And it was!!
