Finally we got back to sleep and didn't wake up until after 8. Plan B was instituted...no Coffee Bar this morning. It was 48 degrees and every single thing we owned that was outside was drenched!
The lady in the Lodge told me that the nearest place to eat was just up the road on Hwy 88 at Copper Mine Grill. So off we went. It wasn't much to look at and it actually shared the building with a Citgo service station. But the folks immediately put us all together in a big room, brought out menus, and we were back in business!
We loaded up Karyl and Jim's doxies and some folks headed back to the Holler, while others spent the rest of the afternoon junkin'.
I just thought it would be nice to be warm and dry and all together since we have had very little visiting time without getting wet. We ended up with four long tables full of folks enjoying lively conversation, good food, and afterwards, games of Mexican Train and canasta.
