Tomorrow is our travel day to Myrtle Beach. I will have another Postcard tomorrow evening to tell you all about our little caravan heading north on Highway 17. Nite, nite from a rainy James Island.
Greetings on this rainy Sunday on James Island. The rains actually didn't start falling until mid-afternoon, so we had time to snap a group photo, send Rich, Sue, and Charlie on their way back home, visit over at the Luke-Zadoff Compound, do some laundry, and have lunch outside before the Panther's kickoff. Murphy and I were able to get in a walk after lunch and it's a good thing because when the rain rolled in, it was another three hours until we could get out again! We settled in to watch the Panthers and were happy to be inside on a rainy afternoon. Too bad the Cats didn't show up to play football. Sophie could have cared less and slept through the entire game! We had a break in the rain and all of us were out walking the pups and stretching our legs out 5:00. Supper for everyone was leftovers this evening. Our plan is to gather in the Activity Center and play cards at 6:30, but it has started raining again, so we will have to wait and see.
