We were diligent about stopping, stretching, and walking about every hour and a half and it honestly didn't add very much time to our travel day. We grabbed a barbecue at Smithfield's in Zebulon for lunch, then discovered a local produce stand in Jamesville where we picked up some veggies for supper Monday night.
We learned a lot on our first trip here last summer. That lesson revolved around what we should bring for a return trip . . . alarm clock, bedside table, small lamps, bath mats, camp chair, Aero bed to name a few. You see, this is a bare bones little cabin and needed some of our camping gear to make it comfortable and homey.
