We met Mary at 8:00 a.m. yesterday morning and got the surprise of our lives. I knew that she was trading her Pod for a new T@B, but I had no idea that she could make it happen in time for the CCIII. Here we are at McDonalds where we stopped for breakfast in Rock Hill.
Good morning from Oak Plantation Campground on Johns Island, SC! The Coastal Caravan is underway and we are living large on this gorgeous Low Country morning. There are ten of us here tucked neatly under the live oaks for the week and all agree this Plan B is a fabulous plan. We spent the afternoon meeting and greeting Beach Peeps and setting up camp. We are all within spitting distance of each other and it's going to be a grand place for us to be for a week. Since yesterday was a Travel Day, we usually eat supper out somewhere so no one has to cook. We drove a whopping two miles to Gilligan's Seafood and 18 of us had a great supper to match great conversation. Bec & Sue got their traditional shrimp & grits and I went with shrimp quesadillas. Yumm-O!! This morning we all eased into our morning with coffee, bike rides, dog walks, breakfasts. Becky and I were sitting under the Clam and before we knew it, we were asking, "How many Beach Peeps can fit in a Clam?" We are large and in charge at OP and I hope you will join in the fun via Postcards! We are off in 15 minutes on a Monday adventure!!
