I got away from home by 9 and had an uneventful drive. I really hate Thursday interstate travel because I'm convinced every tractor trailer is on the road blowing past me! But I arrived safely just a little bit before 1:00.
After checking in at the office, Bones led me to site 84 and gave me the lowdown on water and electric. He gives everyone the same little spiel and says to holler if we need him for anything. Sherry next door in "Anna Bandana" couldn't get her hitch to come off the ball after she parked. Bones to the rescue! I'm pretty lucky to be along the row with trees, so it's nice and shady. |
At 6:00 we gathered in the shelter for a supper of salads and sandwiches compliments of our hostess Karen (Kaytu) Pyne. She gave us the lowdown on area restaurants, the antique shops, and things to see near us.
We took a bit of time to introduce ourselves. There are several new Sisters here and I'm looking forward to getting to know them.
Thanks for dropping in this evening! I'll be chatting with you tomorrow and am sure there will be lots of tales and photos of our antiquing day together!! Nite nite from the Clinton KOA.
