My dear friend Kathie lives here and it is a given that we will have breakfast at The Dog when we are on James Island camping. She snagged a table for us outside and everyone else was able to get a table out there too.
We decided to drive over to Kiawah and go to Beachwalker's Park to poke our toes in the sand and smell the salt air. The drive over there on Bohicket Road is always a favorite because of the abundance of low-hanging live oaks. This was a first time visit for us to Beachwalker's Park and it is very nice . . . lots of parking, boardwalk out to the beach, intact dunes with lots of sea oats, and an awesome stretch of beach.
Bec bought a bundle of firewood for the evening campfire and that rounded out another outstanding day on the Coastal Caravan. I really appreciate you stopping by to pick up your Postcard. Nite nite from site #17.
