With the exception of finding a place to store two corn hole boards and two dog crates, and adding a light and power strip, the carport project is finished! It was Roger-to-the-rescue on Sunday, as he and Becky followed me to Lowes in the truck to get the plywood worktop and lattice. The folks there cut the 4x8' piece of plywood in half for me, but it was still too long to fit in the Pilot. With the base cabinets leveled and in place, it was a matter of putting the two pieces of plywood on top. If and when the top one wears out, I'll still have a second good one underneath. Yesterday and today I worked on putting everything back into place and hanging the lattice. I'm pleased with the results! Now to find a place for the boards and crates and it's on to the next project . . . the furnace room with all my camping supplies, bicycles, and more stuff.

That looks great. When I do one project successfully, it inspires me for the next one!! I bet you get the furnace area sorted out in no time!!!

I will tackle that as soon as the temps and humidity drop a bit...maybe next week. That storage area is about a 6x10 space with the furnace/AC and hot water heater, so it's a bit warm in there! There's no breeze like in the carport so I'll have to do it in stages. Comments are closed.
