Dana and Larry were the first to pull out this morning before sun up. After hugging necks and saying goodbyes, Bec and I left our site 28 about 8 o'clock.
Our first couple of hours were spent traveling towards I-59 and we enjoyed the leisurely route through the countryside. Too bad that didn't describe the rest of our traveling day.
So off we went to Walmart at exit 73. I had to park SplashT@B way at the top of the hill. Once inside, I knew I needed my camera, so I had to walk all the way back to the car. But it was worth it.....just look at these photos of Becky in Crimson Tide heaven!
Becky shopped and shopped and shopped. And in the end, she had bought Rodger Dodger a whole bag full of gear for his birthday which was this past week! The visit was short-lived and we got back on the interstate heading towards Birmingham and some horrendous traffic and road construction. Since I drive a steady 60 mph when pulling the T@B, I had traffic whizzing past me at well over 70.....not fun! |
SplashT@B is parked right outside so I can keep an eye on her and we are enjoying the baseball playoffs on TV, a bathroom within 10 feet from the bed, and a bed of our own. We'll still have a 7 hour drive tomorrow before getting back home and I'm not really looking forward to driving through Atlanta. But for now, all is well!
