On Sunday I told you all about our tour of the factory at the Oliver Travel Trailer facility in Hohenwald, TN. There was a secondary reason for our tour and that was to find and take "baby pictures" of a certain Ollie trailer sitting somewhere in the production line on the factory floor. That little single axle Legacy Elite belongs to my camping buddy, Mary Moren.
Now I gotta tell you that there was a whole series of events leading up to my discovery of Mary's Ollie and I will dedicate another Postcard chapter to how that all unfolded. But first, I want to share those "baby pictures" with you.
Mary ordered her Oliver back in December, but actual production didn't begin until February because there were others in the queue ahead of her. Since there is a 12-week production time, her little Ollie still has 3 weeks until completion, with a delivery date of early May.
Becky and I looked at every name on every trailer we saw and as we came around the corner to the final line, there she sat 2nd in line from the end! We both got so excited and immediately got Mary on the phone to tell her we had found it. At that point I started snapping photos and making videos (8) on my iPhone as Becky chatted with a very excited Mary.

I am so tickled that I was able to capture some "baby pictures" for Mary. I am sure her excitement level is off the charts as she prepares for an early May pick-up of her Ollie. There's more to this portion of my story and it will fill up another entire Chapter! |
