This just happens to be the fall biker's weekend, so we opted to eat outside at the Hot Diggity Diner and watch them cruise back and forth. It was loud, but fun.
Our Friday morning began with a glorious sunrise! Take a look at our view off the porch... The rest of our day was just as colorful. There's a new shop called The Wildflower in Ocean Drive that we checked out before lunch. It's housed in an old service station on the corner and with all the doors and windows thrown open, it was very inviting. There were lots of re-purposed and mid-century modern items to look at. I saw a set of four funky chairs out front with chippy paint that I adored, but at $99 per chair, I had to walk away. We strolled down the street and popped into more of our favorite OD shops before making a decision about lunch. On Ocean Blvd., there's a neat little sandwich shop we've never eaten at, so we decided to try it. This just happens to be the fall biker's weekend, so we opted to eat outside at the Hot Diggity Diner and watch them cruise back and forth. It was loud, but fun. At a place called Hot Diggity Diner, we figured that hot dogs must be the featured item, so that's what we both ordered...Carolina-style I might add. Sirius radio was playing tunes from the '50's and it proved to be a great choice for lunch! Friday was a fun day for us with a couple of new and colorful experiences. Thanks so much for cruising along with us here on the coast and I'll chat with you tomorrow!
