Our day was broken pretty much into thirds. A large group of us piled in cars and headed for Tuckaleechee Caverns for a most excellent tour. The afternoon was spent visiting, checking out the site sign holders, and chatting about our T@Bs. This evening we wrapped up the first official day of the BRR with a Taste of Home Meet 'N Greet in the Pavilion featuring wine, cheese, and other goodies brought from everyone's local region. |
Every time I woke up last night I was expecting to hear raindrops on the roof. When I opened the window shade first thing this morning the sun was out. Not what was forecasted! It didn't take long for the morning to turn cloudy and grey, but that 80% chance of rain never materialized and by late afternoon, there wasn't a cloud in the sky. I would call that Blue Ridge karma! Morning . . . Afternoon . . . Evening . . . Now that we have officially started The Big Visit @ Big Meadow, the real fun begins. Drop back by tomorrow to read all about it!!
