Thanks so much for going to the Country Living Fair with us and I invite you to follow us into PA tomorrow as the adventure continues!
Our morning unfolded exactly like yesterday . . . breakfast in the Coffee Shop, then up to Rhinebeck to enter the gates of the Country Living Fair at ten. Our plan was to head straight to the buildings that we missed yesterday as well as stroll back through all the exhibits a second time. We ran into John and Sandi within the first fifteen minutes once again and chatted in front of the Jelly Belly booth. Coffee tins, bucket lights, French linens, buttons, metal garden chairs, BINGO cards, jewelry, mobile Airstream shops . . . this is what we saw and much, much more in the hours that followed. After deciding that we had seen it all, it was time to do some Hudson River Valley exploring. We rolled through Red Hook, Tivoli, and Germantown. In my pre-trip research, I found out about Otto's Market which is a culinary delight for locals and tourists alike. Becky and I had lunch here before moving on to do a tour of the beautiful and historic Wilderstein house. Becky and I are going to amend our travel plans just a bit and head out tomorrow instead of Monday. The next leg of our journey will take us to Pennsylvania Route 6 where we'll follow the Grand Army of the Republic Highway all the way across the northern portion of the state.
