Tomorrow we've got big plans for our day and I guess you'll just have to drop in later in the evening to hear about our adventures. Have a good evening y'all!!
It was pretty awesome spending the first night in The Cup, peeping out the window in the middle of the night to look at the stars, and waking to sunshine streaming through the windows. I started my day in a leisurely fashion with breakfast outside. Apparently the Podders are just like the T@Bbers and start their visiting early in the day. Tink had quite the gathering at her place as the campground began to wake up. Becky arrived mid-morning and after her round of hellos, we headed off to West Jefferson for our obligatory trip to Walmart. We picked up a Subway sandwich for lunch while there and then scooted back to the Holler. Becky presented Tink with a belated birthday present. We introduced her to Myrtle, the love child of Mingo (Bec's pink flamingo) and Anastasia (my pink flamingo). Rob posted his rally report, Tom did some reading, and the rest of us simply enjoyed being with friends. Rich and Sue arrived just ahead of the afternoon storms. After the skies cleared, Becky and I joined our next door neighbors for supper and later, we introduced Sue and Rich to one our favorite games - Phase 10. Tonight will be another first, as Becky will spend her first night in the Scotty.
