I started my day showing off The Cup's new Life Is Good tire cover given to me by Rich and Sue. Then we all posed with that cool cover to show off our new Life Is Good t-shirts.
Howdy folks! Well, I'm going to sound like a broken record, but we could hardly have had a better day here in The Holler. Weather-wise it was incredibly beautiful, camper-wise we had fun hanging out with friends, junkin'-wise we found some pretty good treasures in West Jefferson, food-wise we ate with the Harley dudes at lunch and the Podders at our potluck supper. I started my day showing off The Cup's new Life Is Good tire cover given to me by Rich and Sue. Then we all posed with that cool cover to show off our new Life Is Good t-shirts. At mid-day we hopped on the Parkway and headed over to Laurel Springs for lunch with all the Blue Ridge Parkway motorcyclists at Freeborne's. We all got burgers that were delicious! When finished, we strolled around Wild Woody's Campground and Store. I want to save the campground photos and story for another Postcard after I get back home. You could smell all kinds of aromas from nearby as people were preparing their dishes for Rob's potluck supper. Ella and Tom next door fixed a Dutch oven dessert while we all played Phase 10. I snapped several photos of all the R-pods here...eleven in all. Rob gave me a nice shout-out at the potluck...thanks Cuz! I can officially report that Podders are great camper chefs too because we sampled some mighty fine food this evening. Great job on your first rally Rob from those of us that fall into the R-Pod & Friends category! And thanks to all you faithful Postcard readers for stopping by each evening. We'll all be heading home sometime in the morning and I'll be speaking with you again tomorrow evening. Nite, nite y'all.
