Those of you who know me well, know that I do own a cell phone, but more often than not, it isn't with me, much less turned on. Many of you needing to get in touch when I'm away from home, know that the best way to do that is to simply call Becky.
I have had my feet stubbornly planted forever in terms of owning and using a phone with more than calling capabilities. All my friends (and relatives) have iPhones and knowing my love for all things Apple, they could only shake their heads at me and wonder why I continued to live in the dark ages with a one-trick-pony phone.
With my old phone in one hand and a special offer from Verizon (that came in Wednesday's mail) in the other hand, off to my local Verizon store I went. Last month I exceeded the limit of my MiFi hotspot that I travel with, camp with, and use sending you Postcards from the road. I had to pay a hefty overage fee and didn't like that one little bit.
So, combined with the offer, my love of Apple, needing a bigger data plan, and giving in to peer pressure, here's what followed me home a couple hours later . . .
Sharon, what have I gotten myself into Sigmon, over and out!
