Greetings once again from Mountain Stream where the air is cool and the friends are awesome. Here's a gallery of photos for you from Friday up and down Highway 80. Enjoy . . . Mornin' folks! We woke to a beautiful morning in the Blue Ridge Mountains and are looking forward to a wonderful day with friends. I didn't get around to sending you a Postcard last evening because The Cup had a bit of a problem and I was busy taking care of her. Where the front window guard attaches to the front of the camper, it leaked at every screw head, causing water to drip inside. Given the fact that we had some major rain yesterday afternoon into the evening, I was busy trying to corral the water. Ron, in the office, loaned me a big old tarp and once we got that tarp on, the drip slowed down and finally stopped . . . whew. So with that explanation out of the way, let me show you what life in camp was like yesterday . . . That's it from Mountain Stream. I'll be chatting with you tomorrow!
Greetings from Mountain Stream RV Park, just five miles south of the Blue Ridge Parkway near Marion, NC! The Coffee Cup and I are here until Sunday, just hanging out with our friends beside Buck Creek. No activities, no plans, no schedule. It's just friends and laughter and total relaxation for five days!! Temperatures this evening should be down in the sixites, perfect for a good night's sleep beside the creek. It's so loud that it sounds like rain. Becky drove up separately because she will have to leave Saturday morning. Geo and Liz arrived yesterday and are right next door to us in the T@B-mahal. Bob and Susan arrived mid-afternoon in their T@DA called Tiny Home. To round out today's arrivals, Sue and Rich pulled in late afternoon in their Roadtrek. Morgan and her pups and Steve and Deb will arrive tomorrow. That leaves Rob and Trisha to pull in Friday after school. Anyone else that joins us will be a total surprise. Becky and I made a run to Food Lion for groceries and upon arriving back here at Mountain Stream, the visiting commenced. Everyone had supper and then it was another round of sitting around, laughing and talking. Sue gave Becky some fans and one had a piece of cellophane on it to look through. Once I saw the starburst pattern, I grabbed my camera and snapped a funky shot to leave with you this evening. Thanks for stopping by tonight and you are invited to check back though the weekend to hear about our comings and goings for our little Meet Me @ Mountain Stream gathering!
