The second reason for today's title is to share my photos from Driftwood Beach on Jekyll Island with you.
Located on the north end of Jekyll Island, Driftwood beach was simply amazing with the beautiful driftwood and trees that resemble a tree graveyard. This is due to the north end of the island slowly eroding away and being deposited on the south end of the island. Driftwood beach offers Mother Nature's artwork at its finest.
On Wednesday, I rode my bike over to the Clam Creek Picnic Area and followed the signs for the Wildlife Viewing Area over Clam Creek. On Friday, Becky and I explored a portion of the beach a little further south at the St. Simon Inlet and couldn't believe the vast amount of driftwood. Then early Saturday morning, a bunch of us went back to that same area to catch the sunrise.
I took too many photos to put in one Postcard, so I'll share them with you in a slideshow. Enjoy...
